Green Readymade Steel Products India Private Limited (GRMS) strongly believes that "green" is not just a color but it is an environmental way of life in which an individual or groups of people have a commitment to utilize resources that are beneficial for the planet.
GRMS is a Private Limited Company based near Bangalore with its registered office and factory located at Malur, Kolar District which is around 22 Kms from Whitefield, Bangalore.
GRMS has set up a Rebar Processing plant of installed capacity 33000 MTPA for processing of steel used in the construction industry primarily reinforcement bars into various shapes and sizes like cranked bars, stirrups, verticals etc for various sectors like housing, infrastructure, commercial, roads, power ,airports etc.
Our line of business of Rebar Processing is an environmental friendly concept which shall bring in a refreshing revolution to the Indian Construction Industry.
GRMS is supplying ready to use steel (Readymade Steel) made under factory conditions for all kinds of construction activities spanning across bridges, metro rail, airports, malls, buildings, factories etc. to the growing Infrastructure Industry. Our product profile includes-Pre-cut, bend bars, Stirrups, from 6 mm to 40 mm diameter.
Today when the steel prices are soaring day by day and there is immense pressure on the natural deposits, we bring in a concept which drastically reduces the wastage of steel used in for construction.

GRMS's vision is to position itself in the market as a "Total Solutions Provider" for all reinforcement steel requirements at construction sites, in the geographical markets GRMS operates in.
Dr. M. Ayyappan, who radically transformed a Central Public Sector Company, was the former Managing Director from 2003 to 2005 and Chairman and Managing Director from 2005 to 2016 of HLL Life Care Limited.
Dr Ayyappan’s dream was to make HLL a Rs 1,000-crore company by 2010 and he accomplished it. His blueprint transformed HLL from a single-product company to a multi-product, multi-service, multi-location corporate and global reach of products and services to more than 115 countries.
With a business of over Rs. 1,500 Crore, now HLL has seven group companies, eight state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and 20 regional offices across India.
Under his leadership, six organizations came into being with potential to change the healthcare delivery scenario across the globe.
Dr Ayyappan is a fellow of All India Management Association and has a deep devotion for research and teaching. He is a mentor and teacher to the budding managers, academics and corporates.
After retiring from the HLL in 2016, Dr. Ayyappan realized his dream which he had been nurturing for nearly two decades.
Today, his attention is towards welfare, support and wellbeing of Senior Citizens of our country who are the neglected part of the population
After 40 years of service, he has now established the AS Group of Companies in which he is the Group Chairman. The business includes Home Nursig facility under the brand ASHA, Senior Living facility under the brand ASHA Senior Living and an Ayurveduic treatment facility under the brand Ayurlaya. His experience in different segments of business prompted him to set up a management consulting organization by name Good2Great Management Services which creates a platform enabling business organizations, Government organizations and start ups discover their path to Greatness through structured mentoring and strategic development. His ventures are purpose-driven rather than mere profit oriented business establishments and it makes him different from other entrepreneurs.
Mirandus Engineering services, a one stop shop for structural engineering services is also being set up under his leadership.
This visionary holds doctorate in Social Marketing from the University of Kerala. He had also been the Chairman/member in the Boards of several companies and institutions bodies.
A Sr. Structural Engineer having 10 years of experience in the Maritime Engineering Sector with experience in the design and analysis of Maritime Structures like quay walls and piled structures.
Mr. Govind started his career at Mouchel (2007) after his Bachelors in Civil Engineering where he gained significant experience in the design of Maritime Structures. After 1.5 years with Mouchel, pursued my post-graduation in Structural Engineering from University of Manchester, United Kingdom (Sep 2008 - Dec 2009). He had a brief stint with Mouchel in their Manchester office as a part-time graduate rail engineer (Nov 2008 – Jan 2009) where his responsibility was in checking rail bridge design calculations.
After his post-graduation, he was working in India (Feb 2010 – Sep 2010) as a project engineer responsible for design of R.C.C. foundations and steel roofing structures. He joined Mott Macdonald (Dubai) in Oct 2010 as a Structural Engineer responsible for the design of R.C.C. and Steel structures for industrial projects. He was also responsible for developing Civil and Marine works specifications for various projects in the Middle East.
He joined Parsons International in 2012 as a Marine Structural Engineer responsible for the design and master planning of various marine facilities in the Middle East. He was also given additional responsibility as a Deputy Project Manager for projects with Abu Dhabi Port Company (ADPC) in U.A.E. His other responsibilities at Parsons include Contract and Finance management, Client relationship management,supporting proposals etc.

Mr. Govind’s credentials would include design of structures using several codes and standards of practice specifically American Standards, Australian Standards (Maritime), British Standards, Coastal Engineering Manual, CIRIA guidelines, Eurocodes, OCDI and PIANC guidelines. He was also familiar in using computer-aided analysis and design software like Staad Pro (Structural Analysis) and Wallap (Retaining Walls).
An astute & result oriented professional with over 20 years of extensive techno commercial experience in general management, business development, product management and sales & marketing functions with profit accountability. Being with GRMS.
Since the inception of the Company from Nov 30th, 2010 in the capacity of Executive Director and COO, he could link the people process, the strategy and the operating plan together to achieve the Company’s desired results, effectively and efficiently.
Sunil’s prior industrial experience includes a three year stint with IJM Steel Product Private Limited, Hyderabad as general manager. During his tenure at IJM, Sunil was responsible for setting up the new business division for prefabricated reinforcing steel.
Sunil started his career as a trainee, sales engineer with Fletcher Challenge, Bangalore, a ready-mix concrete company. He further went on to work with RMC Ready-mix Concrete, Bangalore and Neptune Ready-mix Concrete, Cochin (now acquired by RDC Concrete Product Ltd, Mumbai). While making the move to IJM, Sunil was the Head-Business Development (India) for RDC Concrete Products, Mumbai.
He has over sixteen years of exposure to the Bangalore construction market and has excellent relationships with major stakeholders of the construction fraternity in Bangalore.
Sunil’s educational qualification comprises of a bachelor degree in civil engineering and a post graduate diploma in business administration.
A self motivated and hard working graduate with over 17 years of widespread experience in strategic planning, plant & project management, operations & maintenance, erection & commissioning and resource management. As the Operations Head of GRMS since the incorporation of the Company, he could excel in his skills of operational management, process improvements, resource management and energy management.
Sankar started off his career as an executive trainee with HLL Life Care Limited,
Kerala (Hindustan Latex Limited), a Government of India Undertaking in the year 2001 and during his tenure of 6.7 years with HLL, he has worked at different levels like Assistant Manager, Senior Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager performing functions inclusive of maintenance, quality systems, production and engineering.
Sankar later moved onto IJM Steel Products Private Limited, Hyderabad where he was heading the Production Department as Manager – Production. During his tenure with IJM for 2.8 years, he was instrumental in the ‘prefabricated reinforcing steel’ plant installation, production planning, resource management, and was also the incharge of its factory activities.
